Frequently Asked Questions
Who owns Crescent Supply?
The Rotskoff family founded and has owned Crescent since 1905. We celebrated 120 years in business in 2025!
Who do you sell to?
We are a plumbing wholesaler that caters to plumbers, contractors, homeowners, designers, and other businesses – we sell to everyone!
What level of training do your design consultants have?
Combined, our showroom team has over 40 years experience specifying residential plumbing fixtures. All of our design consultants go through manufacturer led training at least once per month to stay on top of the latest products on the market. Our reputation for offering excellent customer service is something that we take very seriously, and we want your space to reflect your personal style.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are recommended but not required. The average plumbing consultation takes anywhere from an hour-and-a-half to two hours, so we want to make sure we have one of our design consultants available when it is convenient for you. An appointment ensures that both the consultant and homeowner have dedicated time available so we can offer the best service possible. We will ask you lots of questions: who your trade partners are, what your timeline is, what your desired design aesthetic is, whether you have any inspiration photos, and more!
At what point in my project should I buy my plumbing?
As early as possible. Many orders are fulfilled within 4-8 weeks, but there are always outliers. The sooner you make your selections and place your order, the better. Some items are custom-made, out of stock at the factory, or are on extended lead times. Your design consultant will work with you to find items that will fall into your project timeframe.
How much do plumbing fixtures cost?
Everyone’s budget is different, and we respect that! If you have a budget in mind, let us know – we’re happy to work with you. Our design consultants are experts at specifying anything from high-end luxury to affordable products. We frequently mix high and low to achieve a custom look that will make your space feel like home.
Do you offer a warranty with the fixtures you sell?
While Crescent does not offer any warranties, most manufacturers we work with have warranties on their goods. Every manufacturer has a different policy with warranty claims, but most require a proof of purchase and a photo or video of the issue you’re experiencing.
What is your return policy?
Eligible items for return must be submitted within 60 days of delivery and will incur restocking/return shipping fees. Items must be returned in the condition that they were sold. Any used, installed, modified, damaged items or items with damaged or missing packaging or parts are not eligible for return. Credits are issued after the product has been received and inspected.
What is your delivery policy?
We deliver in a multitude of ways. We use a combination of UPS, FedEx, USPS, Our Trucks, Regional/National Truck Lines, and Courier Services to get your goods to your doorstep. Using these shipping methods, we are able to deliver nationwide. If you are local, we deliver orders totaling over $1,000 to the Missouri side, inside the 270 loop at no additional cost using our delivery vehicles.
Do you offer interior design services?
Our design consultants will assist with plumbing fixture selection for your kitchen, bar, laundry, and bath areas. If you need an interior designer for your project, we can recommend several independent designers who will fit your vibe.
Do you have installers?
While we don’t employ any plumbers or installers, we would love to recommend some of our trusted trade partners to help you with your project!
If my contractor is asking for rough-in items; what items do I need?
Rough-in items are the types of items that need to be installed before the walls go up. This includes alcove bathtubs, tub drains, shower valves, and island tub drains for freestanding tubs.
